NOVO-PHARM NOLVADEX – TAMOXIFEN CITRATE GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Nolvadex (also called Tamoxifen) is a sex hormone group drug medication. It is used as a form of health protection in bodybuilding, not to produce anabolic effects. Nolvadex is not an anabolic drug, but is generally used for:

• anabolic-androgenic steroid cycles as an auxiliary drug to prevent the manifestation of adverse reactions;
• PCT to restore the regular functioning of the human body.

The drug was first used in medicine to treat cancers of the mammary gland. It is now used in sports as androgenic-anabolic medications increase the level of female sex hormones (estrogens), leading to reversion of the female type such as gynecomastia (breast growth in males, obesity of the female type, excessive retention of water). The initiation of gynecomastia in athletes is quite easy to determine – there is a kind of pain in the general area of the mammary glands, itching around the nipples, noticeable swelling in the skin and even potential clear discharge.

Nolvadex can still lead to a number of side effects, given its efficacy. Male athletes may encounter rise in body temperature, nausea, dizziness. Due to fluid retention in the body, normal kidney function may be compromised. NOVO-PHARM NOLVADEX – TAMOXIFEN CITRATE ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE

Through anabolic-androgenic drug cycles, it is recommended to use aromatase inhibitors such as Proviron. These medications will not inhibit growth hormone development and will instead increase anabolic hormone levels due to decreased aromatization. During the last week of the drug cycle and 2 weeks after the treatment, Nolvadex should be used as the primary component of post-cycle therapy. When Proviron has not been used during the cycle of anabolic-androgenic steroids, then the antiestrogen will be used from the second week of the cycle up to 2-3 weeks after completion. The normal dose is 10-20 mg. The maximum daily dose is 40 mg.

During the last week of the cycle, it is not appropriate to use Nolvadex as post-cycle therapy must start at the end of the action of the active steroid agent. This period can vary depending on the anabolic drug used. During the cycle, antiestrogen usage is not always necessary – if the steroid drugs used are not susceptible to aromatization, aromatase inhibitors do not need to be taken, so Nolvadex is used at the end of the cycle only.
